Marisol Vindiola is currently the Senior Business Development Manager of Orange 142 and former Senior Director of Multicultural Marketing at Visit Tucson. In her role at Visit Tucson, she oversaw all aspects of multicultural marketing within the cross-functional organization. This included visitor outreach, activities, business, and event planning, as well as assisting in U.S./Mexico projects to accomplish organizational and departmental objectives. She also managed Visit Tucson’s efforts to reach and engage diverse communities and drive cross-sector impact within the community. Additionally, she worked with all Visit Tucson departments, business partners, and local, state, and international governmental organizations to strengthen the promotion of Tucson, Arizona, in Mexico and within the Hispanic market in the United States.
Before joining Visit Tucson, Ms. Vindiola served as the Public and Media Relations Coordinator for the Consulate of Mexico in Tucson. She also serves as an executive board member on the boards of directors for Arizona Town Hall, the Public Relations Society of America – Tucson Chapter, Tucson- Mexico Sister Cities, and is a member of the Arizona-Mexico Commission Tourism Committee. She hosts a binational radio show in Southern Arizona and Mexico and collaborates on writing articles related to tourism promotion for major Spanish-language media.
Ms. Vindiola has been awarded for Community Service by the League of United Latin American Citizens(LULAC), for two Best Public Relations Campaigns by PRSA with Multicultural Communication Category, Best Marketing Campaign by the Arizona Governor’s Tourism Office, and recognized as an Inspirational Hispanic in the U.S. by ABC’s “Good Morning America” and a Proclamation from Pima County Board of Supervisors for the “Hispanic Heritage Month.” These accolades reflect her journey and have led her to her current position in business development with an Ad Tech company, allowing her to network with leaders in the tourism industries across the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America.
Marisol holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Universidad de Sonora in Mexico. She also has certifications in Digital Marketing, Nonprofit Leadership & Management, and a Business Certificate from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She is originally from Sonora, Mexico, and resides in Tucson, Arizona, with her two sons, Andree and Ethan. Her superpowers include being bilingual, binational, bicultural, and a proud Latina.
