Anais Biera Miracle

Anais is the Chief Communications Officer for one of the largest, Latino-led nonprofits in the United States. Anais specializes in crisis communications and litigation public relations.

She was the chief public relations officer for a nonprofit in San Antonio for nearly twelve years, where she led communications and advocacy on behalf of youth and families involved in the Texas foster care system.

Anais has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of the Incarnate Word and is a graduate of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Alex Briseño Leadership Development Program and Latina Leadership Institute, Leadership Austin Essential Class 45, and various leadership programs. Anais is pursuing her master’s degree in public leadership from the University of Texas at Austin’s Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.

Anais received the Image de San Antonio Award as an Outstanding Hispanic Woman Role Model, the Yellow Rose of Texas Award through the Office of the Governor, recognizing women for their contributions to their communities and the state of Texas, and the Del Oro Community Service Award from the Public Relations Society of America San Antonio Chapter.

Anais is married and has a daughter, and is the daughter of Gilberto Biera, Jr., and Mary Helen Biera of Castroville, Texas.
